Courtesy of a plethora of very irked Yahoo employees, here is the interior memo sent to the company about a brand new rule rolled out today by CEO Marissa Mayer, which requires that Yahoo employees who work remotely relocate to company facilities. "Speed and quality are often sacrificed once we work from home," reads the memo to employees from HR head Jackie Reses. "We should be one Yahoo! Painfully awkward as that is phrased, it means each Yahoo get to your desks stat! I reported earlier immediately that the transfer will apparently influence only several hundred workers, equivalent to customer service reps, who work from home full time. But quite a few sources advised me that the decree extends to any staffers who might have preparations to work from home only one or two days every week, too. The modifications begin in June, based on the Yahoo memo. After that, employees who work from home should comply without exception or quit. One prime supervisor was told that there would be little flexibility on the problem.
