Download plus Install Cisco Inc. AnyConnect Secure Mobility is a simple operation if you follow the steps below.

Requirements
Before the user begin, verify the following prerequisites:
- platform support: Windows 10/11, Mac OS, or Linux.
- Elevated permissions on the device.
- web access for the transfer.

Download procedure
1. Open a browser such as Chromium, FF, or Microsoft Edge.
2. Go to the Cisco vendor website or your organization download portal.
3. Locate the AnyConnect Secure Mobility package for your OS.
4. Click the obtain button and save the installer.

Verify the download
Once the download process, check the file:
- File size should correspond to the published value.
- When available, check the checksum.

Install on Windows
1. Right-click the installer and choose Run as admin.
2. Follow the screen instructions:
- Accept the user agreement.
- Choose the recommended components.
3. Finish the install and reboot if prompted.

Install on macOS
1. Open the dmg and double-click the installer.
2. Follow the installation guide, enter root credentials when asked.
3. Permit any security access in System Preferences if necessary.

Install on Linux
1. Extract the archive https://github.com/ivclient/Ivanti-Secure-Access-Client/releases if archived.
2. Run the setup script with sudo rights, for example:
sudo ./vpn_install.sh
3. Follow the terminal prompts to complete the installation.

Connect to a VPN
1. Launch the AnyConnect.
2. Enter the gateway hostname.
3. Provide your credentials and any 2FA code.
4. Click Establish connection and verify the connection status.

Troubleshooting
If you face errors:
- Check network access.
- Restart the software.
- Uninstall and reinstall the software.
- Consult the logs for details and search Cisco knowledge base.
